(June 13, 2011)-Sacramento Gold FC (5-3-3) traveled to Southern California over the weekend. After a long trip and with a limited amount of players making the trip, Gold FC was able to secure two important victories after beating Rattlers FC (2-0-8) 4-3 on Saturday June 11, 2011 and Santa Ana Winds (7-0-3) 2-1 on Sunday June 12, 2011.
The match against Rattlers FC provided seven goals in all. Goals from Ivan Bermudez, Oscar Sandoval, and a pair from Miguel Aguilar allowed the Sacramento side to pull away with the win and three points.
Sacramento Gold mid-fielder Fernando Cabadas and forward Jason Jones took care of the scoring responsibilities against Santa Ana Winds. Each netted a goal during the match while earning the team 3 more important points.
Up next Sacramento Gold FC will host Real San Jose (1-0-10) on Saturday June 18, 2011. Kick off is scheduled for 7pm.
