While this may not be a primary reason for the shift to autonomous vehicles, it is definitely a byproduct. The pollution that comes from an auto fleet is significant and can have serious consequences on our environment. This will ultimately be solved with AI-enabled AVs because they are capable of making better decisions about where to go and how to get there.
6. Reduced Fraud
As you know, there has been an increase in fraudulent activity on the road over the past few years. In some cases, it has even been found that criminals are paying people to drive their cars so they can commit fraud. This technology will solve this problem by eliminating human error from the equation.
